The Chief of Data Operations is a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and is responsible for the development and proper maintenance of all data operations within the Colonial Ministry of Defense. This is an appointed position, chosen by the Commander in Chief and affirmed by the Fleet Commanders' Council. This person holds the minimum rank of Vice Admiral.
Duties
- Develop and maintain the Library of Athena database, which safeguards all member data.
- Develop and maintain the Colonial Ministry of Defense website.
- Administer CMoD email servers and other data-based utilities used by the Colonial Ministry of Defense.
- Support the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Fleet Commanders' Council.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Commander in Chief.
